SECUDRIVE aims to protect data at multiple stages of the data life cycle. From creation, data is at risk if it is not created and stored in a secure environment. When transporting data, it should be protected from both external and internal threats. Finally, when the storage units that are holding data are at the end of their lives, data should be wiped clean.
By utilizing intellectual property (IP) protection, port blocking, encryption, and sanitization technology, data can be kept safe from creation to deletion. The diagram below shows how we are able to protect data at multiple stages of the Data Life cycle that allows for safe data use, storage, and transportation.
Ports and peripherals can be seen as the doorways to corporate machines and, ultimately, to corporate data. Just as doors have locks to keep intruders out, ports and peripherals for corporate machines should be handled in the same way. Otherwise, random devices can access and steal corporate information.
